Legal Services

Wyoming Immigrant Advocacy Project will begin providing free and low-cost legal advice and representation to income-qualified clients in early 2024. Immigrants are five times more likely to win their cases with an attorney than without. However, attorneys are often costly and out of reach for many immigrants. WIAP offers services to the most vulnerable members of Wyoming’s immigrant community and works alongside our clients to stabilize their immigration status. We pursue solutions that avoid family separation, keep our clients safe and free from violence in the United States, and protect their rights every step of the way. Services are offered in the following areas:

• Asylum, Withholding, and CAT

• Temporary Protected Status

• Removal of Conditional Permanent Resident Status

• U and T Visas

• Youth Representation

• DACA

• VAWA Self-Petitions

• Change or Extension of Status

• Naturalization

• Family-Based Petitions

• Removal Defense and Appeals
